Who processes it for us
- Kit (kit.com) receives the email address you enter in the signup form on this site, stores the email list and sends the emails.
- Inrō sends the automatic Instagram direct messages.
- Cloudflare hosts this site and forwards email sent to [email protected].
- Meta runs Instagram. When you use Instagram, Meta's own privacy policy applies.
Some of these providers process data outside Serbia and the EU, including in the United States. Where they do, they rely on safeguards such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. We never sell your data or share it for anyone else's marketing.
How long we keep it
Your email address stays on the list until you unsubscribe. After that, we keep only a record that you unsubscribed, so you aren't added again by mistake. If you sign up but never confirm your email, you won't receive anything else, and unconfirmed addresses are deleted regularly. Instagram conversations stay in Instagram and Inrō until they're deleted there.
Your rights
You can ask to see the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, receive a copy of it, or object to or limit how it's used. You can withdraw consent at any time. The quickest way is the unsubscribe link at the bottom of every email. For anything else, email [email protected] and you'll get a reply within 30 days.
If you think your data has been handled wrongly, you can complain to Serbia's Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection (poverenik.rs) or to the data protection authority in your own country.
Age
Cognition Code is not meant for anyone under 16, and we don't knowingly collect data from them.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date. Big changes will also be announced by email.
